How to Add Teammates & Others to Your Account

If you have an account with us you can add (invite) team members, stakeholders, and other users to your account. 

All AGS products are offered on a per-user basis, and so they will need to subscribe. This gives them their own single-user license. To invite others to subscribe to your account, follow the quick 3 steps below.

Step 1:  Visit your “My Account” page. Scroll down to the bottom left and copy your Account ID.

Step 2:

Send the user your Account ID and also this link to our product subscription page: https://ocm.airiodion.com/pricing/

On your communication, tell them which products to subscribe to. This will be the same types of tools that you have in your account. See the below image for examples.

On your communication, tell the user to click and add the products (same as yours) to cart, and on the checkout page they should enter your account ID here (see image below):

Step 3:

After the person subscribes to the products in your account, you (owner of the account) will get a notification asking you to approve the user. You need to approve a user before he or she can be added to your account.

And voila! That’s it. Simple.

What if I don’t receive the email to approve? 

  • Be sure to check your spam or bulk mail folders to ensure that the email wasn’t misrouted to a different folder.
  • You can also access your account to approve the user. Here is where to go: User and Permissions, next to the appropriate user, click on “Approve.”

How Can I Remove a User from My Account?

Easy.

Just go to your account’s User and Permissions page and click on the ellipsis (three dots) to the right of where it says Approved (see screenshot below).

When you click on the three dots, you will see an option to remove access.

How to Cancel Your AGS Cloud Subscription

How do you cancel your AGS Cloud subscription?

Very simple.

We have a no-hassle, no-questions-asked cancellation policy. Cancel your AGS Cloud subscription anytime before your next billing, and you won’t be billed anymore. At the end of your current subscription, your account will become inactive.

Option 1:

To cancel, click on Your Subscriptions page. View the subscription you want to cancel, and hit cancel.

Can I share AGS tool or tools with others? What are the requirements for the single-use license? If I have a colleague on the same project can we use your tool(s) separately and work on the project separately or does each person need to subscribe / purchase? Also, can your product(s) be shared across multiple users?

Answers:

AGS Cloud Products: If you subscribe to any of our Cloud products, you cannot share your log-in details with others. When you subscribe to any of our Cloud products, you are purchasing a single-user license to that product, meaning you are the only one that can use and make edits to the product. Our products are offered on a per user basis. You can add users to your account to collaborate with you, but they need to subscribe. Subscribing gives them their own single-user license. Downloadable Excel Products: If you purchased any of our Excel-based products, you have purchased a single-user license to that product. If you want others to use and manage the Excel-based product, then click here to Purchase an Additional User License


Single User License – The Legalese Version (To Please Our Lawyers)

Subject to AGS terms and conditions, we grant only you as an Individual Licensee, a single-user right and license to access and use Airiodion Global Services tools, products, and services procured from us, and for which we have received payment of the applicable fees. This license is for a single person only and may not be transferred, sublicensed or assigned.

You shall not, and agree that you will not distribute or share any user name or passwords provided to you by us. Further, you agree not to share or distribute our Product or to make any copies thereof for any other individual’s or entity’s use; provided that Individual Licensees may export and share reports, charts, tables, reports, and finished (i.e., completely populated) templates using the Product, and may share such exported reports and templates but solely for use by you, your team, or your employer.

Except as expressly permitted by us, you shall not, nor allow or authorize any third party to (i) reproduce, allow use of or access to our Product, or sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise transfer or assign any rights to access and use our Product, in whole or in part, to a third party; (ii) alter, enhance or otherwise modify or create derivative works of or from the Product; (iii) reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble or attempt to discover any underlying ideas or algorithms of the Product (except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable local law in order to obtain interoperability); (iv) remove or destroy any proprietary markings, confidential legends or any trademarks or trade names of Airiodion Global Services, Airiodion Consulting Group or our licensors placed upon or contained within the Product, (v) upload, post or transmit into this Product any unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, or otherwise objectionable information of any kind, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable law, including violations of the intellectual property rights or any other rights of a third party; or (vi) post or transmit into this Product any information, content or software which is subject to any open source or freeware license or contains a virus, cancelbot, Trojan horse, worm or other harmful component. Use, duplication or disclosure by the U.S. Government or any of its agencies is subject to restrictions set forth in the Commercial Computer Software and Commercial Computer Software Documentation clause at DFARS 227.7202 and/or the Commercial Computer Software Restricted Rights clause at FAR 52.227.19(c).

Excel Not Responding? Freezes? Hangs?

Users of Excel sometimes run into issues whereby their Excel document stops responding, freezes or hangs. Oftentimes you have no choice but to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete (PC users) or Command-Option-Esc (Mac users) to force-shutdown Excel.

Below are tips from AGS and also from Microsoft Support Team on how to minimize these issues.

First, What Causes The Excel Freezing Issues?

Problems with Excel hanging, freezing or not responding may occur due to one or more of the following reasons:

    • You have more than one Excel document open: often leads to high memory usage.
    • You have an Excel document and also another Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) open.
    • You have not installed the latest Operating System updates.
    • Excel Add-ins (COM) are interfering with your Excel | Excel may be in use by another process.
    • You may need to repair your Office 2010 programs.
    • Antivirus software may be outdated, or conflicting with Excel.

Resolution

(1) Don’t Open Other Excel Documents at the Same Time

When opening your Change Management Excel Tool, ensure that you don’t have other Excel documents open.

Excel uses a lot of computer memory and when you have more than one Excel document open, this increases your computer’s CPU, Memory, Power and overall bandwidth usage which often leads to Excel freezes, lags and hanging.

Note: Realistically, there will be times when it is unavoidable that you need to have more than one Excel document open. For example, when you need to copy and paste data from one spreadsheet to another. If that is the case, just make sure to save the document often, and immediately close out the other document when you are done copying and pasting.

(2) Close Other Microsoft Documents

In addition to not opening other Excel documents, try to ensure that you don’t have other Microsoft Office documents open at the same time as this might contribute to lags – although not at a scale of having other Excel documents open at the same time.

(3) Install the Latest Windows or Mac Updates

You might need to set your Windows or Mac “updates setting” to automatically download and install recommended updates. Installing any important, recommended, and optional updates can often correct problems by replacing out-of-date files and fixing vulnerabilities. To install the latest Office updates, see Install Windows updates.

If installing the latest updates did not resolve your issue, see other resolutions above and below.

(4) Check and Make Sure Excel is not in use by Another Process

If Excel is in use by another process, this information will be displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the Excel window. If you try to perform other actions while Excel is in use, Excel may not respond. Let the task in process finish its job before attempting other actions.

(5) Investigate Possible Issues with Add-ins

While add-ins can enhance your experience, they can occasionally interfere, or conflict with Excel. Try starting Excel without add-ins to see if the problem goes away. 

    1. Do one of the following:
      • If you are running Windows 10, choose Start > All apps > Windows System > Run > type Excel /safe in the Run box, then click OK.
      • If you are running Windows 8, click Run in the Apps menu > type Excel /safe in the Run box, then click OK.
      • If you are running Windows 7, click Start > type Excel /safe in Search programs and files, then click OK.
    2. If the issue is resolved, click File > Options Add-ins.
    3. Select COM Add-ins, and click Go.
    4. Clear all the check boxes in the list, and click OK.
    5. Close and restart Excel.

If the issue does not occur when you restart Excel, start enabling your add-ins one at a time until does. This will allow you to figure out which add-in is causing the problem. Be sure and restart Excel each time you enable an add-in.

If disabling add-ins did not resolve your issue, continue on to the next item on the list.

(6) Check to see if Your Antivirus Software is Up-to-Date or Conflicting with Excel

If your antivirus software is not up-to-date, Excel may not function properly. To keep up with new viruses that are created, antivirus software vendors periodically provide updates that you can download from the Internet. Download the latest updates by visiting your antivirus software vendor’s website.

If your antivirus software includes integration with Excel, you may experience performance issues. In this case, you can disable all Excel integration within the antivirus software. Or, you can disable any antivirus software add-ins that are installed in Excel.
